All clear

I don't know what's changed in the last few minutes, but the riot police have now withdrawn from the field.

I have only watched the last few innings of games 4, 5 and 6 and this is what baseball is all about. Granted I've lost a lot of sleep but it's worth it.

I have seen the fans from both teams on tv crossing fingers, praying, you name it..they're doing it. What these people don't realize that it's just A game. Yeah, I know it's the playoffs and almost World Series, but in the grand scheme of life, it's just A game. When the police came out in the riot uniform it made me sick! Fans need to get a grip and leave these players alone. They are human and are not perfect. Baseball is fun and not a life threatening aspect in someone's life.

It's fun to cheer your team on but there's etiquette that's involved. I'm saying this towards all baseball fans no matter who you root for.

Now let's Go Redkees! or was it YanSocks...who cares, it's good baseball!

I'm not defending the minority of fans who were throwing objects on the field. I'm just outraged by the over reaction of brings riot police on the field.

Every non-Yankee fan I've talked to this morning is talking about "those damn Yankee fans," "those crazy Yankee fans," "those animals in the Bronx."

Were the fans who threw things wonrg? Yes. Was bring police in riot gear onto the field overkill? Definitely.
