Hey, bartender

A co-worker just told me how she's looking forward to drinking an Irish car bomb to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

"What's an Irish car bomb?" I naively asked.

It's a mixture of Guinness, Bailey’s and Jameson whiskey.

Somehow I've managed to go through life without hearing of this drink. Do I have to turn in my Irish heritage membership card?

I can't say I'm wild about the name, but it sounds delicious!

I think I may have heard of it...that sounds really good. It's a good thing St. Patricks Day is on a Friday. This year will be the first time I don't go out on St. Patricks Day in like 15 years.

Ick. I have nothing against Irish whiskey but putting it in Guinness?

That's just wrong. It's fine just the way it is.

And the name is just plain stupid nevermind a tad insensitive.

I must admit I have had these at the Parting Glass in Saratoga. It went like this, order one pint Guiness and one shot whiskey. Drop shot of whiskey including glass into pint of Guiness. Chug.
