C'mon, FedEx?!? That seemed like a pretty lame guess to me -- espicially from a brainiac like the Jeopardy Guy.
So let's start the conspiracy theories. Did he just decide it was time to throw in the towel himself? Did Merv Griffin tap him on the shoulder and say, "Enough is enough"?

yes....he bagged out....i was thinking the same thing and a co-worker came up to me this moring and right out of the blue...said the same thing...it was an easy question to answer considering all the difficult questions he's answered so far.....the "great someone" whispered in his ear that it was time to leave!
