Red Planet getting redder?

Global warming isn't just an Earth phenomenon. Scientisits say it's also an issue on Mars.

No one has found a way to blame it on humans...yet.

I don't understand why we spend billions of dollars a year (no question asked) on space exploration because scientists has theories that it will benefit the human race. Yet when a large group of scientist from around the world agree that humans are excelerating global warming, there are people (the same people who believe in space exploration) that are doubting their conclusion.
