Internal affairs

I'm really curious about the scoop behind the reunion of 80s rockers The Police.

They're performing on the Grammys this Sunday night and are set to announce a world tour the next morning.

They're break-up was a rather bitter one. The last time they got together was just to do a couple of songs for the guests at Sting's wedding, and they couldn't even do that without fighting with each other.

So what's changed that they'll be able to make through a world tour?

It may be that these guys are mellowing in their old age and things don't bother them as much anymore. But I think the real reason is simple...MONEY!!! God knows that Sting dosen't need it, but Copeland and Summers haven't exactly broke the bank since the break-up. My guess is that Stewart and Andy realize how much money they can make by touring...so they are putting away their differences for some bucks.

Somehow Sting didn't hit it big with that 15th century Mandolin playing. "Roxanne, you doth have the fortnight of an Amber Lantern....." um no. Reunion = cha, ching.
