Chris, I'm with you! And thanks for saying this. ANY time I hear people grousing about something like this, I feel it's just wasted effort. Negativity - whining - rarely helps solves what people...

Even this registered Dem has to admit that was a pretty stupid thing for Kerry to say. I was never a fan of his anyways and that justified my dislike.
What a moron.
Let me just say that I will stand "forgainst" Kerry on this one...
The Dems are on the verge of taking over and this guy could have potentially blow the opportunity.
Moron

i mean, captain obvious here... kerry is essentially correct if you analyze the stats of who is in the "armed combat" portion of the services, but you just don't say certain things that are obvious.
Captain Obvious has a good point. When you look at the stats, our military, those who are not career, are of lower income, education, etc.
But what a way to characterize it. Nothing like biting the hand that feeds you (history shows that the "less fortunate" tend to vote liberal as liberals stand to protect social services, etc)
I'm sure Kerry has some intellegence but no tact whatsoever. There was a tactful way to phrase this that would have proven to be a solid jab at the Bush's mismanagement of the war and our troop deployment.
