Paternal identity crisis

There has been a shift of sorts in our house. In the last week or so, Nolan been referring to me as "Daddy" less and more often calling me just simply "Dad." I guess he's doing the same with Kris -- calling her "Mom" from time to time. But I think he does more with me.

I'm not sure what brought this on. It probably doesn't sound like a big deal to anyone else. But to me, it just underscores how much older he's getting.

At least I'll still have Thomas to call me "Daddy" for a while longer.
