Honoring Ponch

Hey, I loved "CHiPs" and all when I was a kid, but come on. Is it just me or does it seem like standards are being lowered when Erik Estrada gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?

And if we're giving Ponch a star, then where's the love for Larry Wilcox?

Ponch never did any Taco Bell commercials...

Those stars are simply for sale. Although you do need to be somewhat of a celebrity to qualify, all you need is a sponsor (such as a studio or a fan club) to pay the $25,000 fee. That's how Ryan Seacrest got a star years ago, because his fan club raised enough money.

i think that we should raise $25,000 for Mr. Rooney to get his star. I'll bake some cookies....

I did get recognized quite a bit for a Huck Finn's Warehouse commercial I appeared in ("HUMONGORAMA!"). But Mike Sussman is the real movie star in our midst!

Nothing can compare to the 'parents who do Winnie the Pooh have kids who do Winnie the Pooh' kid. ;)
