Back in the day, Oprah's TV talk show was just as trashy and tabloidy (is that a word?) as all of the other daytime talk show's.Then somewhere about 10 years or so ago she decided from now on she would only do "positive" shows. Flash forward to 2005 -- I just saw the promo for today's "Oprah" show: "When your identical twin has a sex change!"
Making a difference...Changing lives. That's Oprah...doing God's work!
Seems a little out-of-phase for Oprah to do something like this. I would be curious how many identical twins go through this procedure. With the greater probability of multiples thanks to advancements in science, I guess there is more than initially imagined.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is part of a bigger slide for Oprah. Although she didn't get alot of flak for Tom Cruise's appearance, he sure did. Perhaps she' a little scared that now that Ms. Stewart is back, she might take viewer shares away.
I haven't seen David Letterman in a while, maybe he's not talking about her enough.
